Karl began his
financial services career in 1996 entering the business as a field agent for The
Knights of Columbus Insurance.
He worked out of his
home for 3 years providing fixed and term life insurance and fixed retirement
annuties. Here he received a strong understanding of the benefits of guaranteed
interest accounts and the importance of allocating a portion of assets in those
type of financial vehicles. During his 3 years as a Knights of Columbus Agent
Karl became a Fraternal Insurance Counselor and in 1997 was the top new
member recruiter within the Wisconsin State Council Knights of
Columbus.
In 1999 Karl became a
career agent of The Principal Financial Group where he expanded on his knowledge
and obtained his securities license. At his new location in the Eastern WI
Buinsess Center in Neenah, WI, Karl then was able to provide mutual funds,
variable universal life insurance, variable retirement annuities and
added disability income and long term care insurance to his services. Within 2
years he was licensed with over ten A rated life insurance companies and able to
provide his clients with the benefit of shopping several life insurance
companies for the best term life insurance rates based on age and health
conditions. He also began offering Medicare Supplement and both group and
individual health insurance to his existing clients for the convenience of a
one-stop shop.
While at
The Principal Karl expanded his knowledge to provide benefits for business
owners and their employees. He learned of the many non-qualified executive
benefit strategies and developed a team of financial specialists he can access
for business owner and employee programs
assistance.
In 2003 after 3 years as a career agent at The
Principal, Karl became an independent broker and moved his business back to his
home in Little Chute where he continues to serve his clients to this day
with numerous financial products provided by a variety of insurance and
investment management companies.
